No problem at all. We accept any amount. Smaller collections still receive payment at the same per-card rate. Even 500 cards is a win — that's money your school didn't have before, and cards that were sitting in drawers doing nothing. Most schools are surprised by how many cards come in once the drive is announced.
Absolutely. Many schools run two drives per year — one in fall and one in spring. Kids accumulate new cards regularly, so a second drive often collects just as many as the first. We'll ship a fresh kit each time at no cost.
Since parents are donating cards to a school fundraiser (not a 501(c)(3) directly), the tax treatment depends on how your school or PTA is organized. If your PTA is a registered nonprofit, we can provide documentation of the card count and value to support any receipts your organization issues. Yes. For schools within the Northern Virginia and DC metro area, we offer free in-person pickup. For schools anywhere else in the US, we provide a prepaid shipping label so you can send the cards to us at no cost. The entire program works the same regardless of location.
We accept other trading cards too — Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards, and more. Kids can bring whatever they have. We'll sort through everything. Pokemon cards make up the majority of what comes in, but we value and pay for all trading cards. Just throw them all in the box.
